The Kakanui Modules are the most flexible and versatile solid timber storage and display system on the market. A versatile, practical, and attractive storage solution, the Kakanui Modules can be designed to suit your specific storage needs and rearranged if these change.

Modules are available in multiples of 50 mm for width and height starting at 200mm and any depth with a minimum of 140 mm. We can make them from NZ Silver Beech, imported American White Oak, Black Walnut and Maple. They can be made with all sides finished so they can be used as a room divider or with the back left unfinished to be used against the wall. see photos for different arrangements. They are fitted together into a stable strong unit using special brass fittings (see photo) which are easily removed to allow a new arrangement. The whole unit can be attached to the wall with metal brackets to ensure earthquake safety.

While the cost obviously varies depending on size, complexity and timber, an average module is about $400.
