Working for clients is the mainstay of my business. I offer a complete personal design and manufacture service for solid wood furniture. I work alone so you can be assured of my personal attention to your project.
Depending on the availability of materials and the complexity of the task projects can take from six months to a year. The initial consultation on site is free in the Wanaka/Queenstown area and after that a design process is undertaken that will typically result in two or three alternative designs. Once the design is agreed, a charge of 25% of the cost is made to cover the design fee and purchase of materials. Because of the nature of wood it is sometimes necessary to put wood aside for a period of time to settle into an equilibriumwith the local climate. Regular email updates with photographs will be sent showing the progress of your project and visits to the workshop are welcome.
